    This 1019 sq. ft. 1 bedroom, 1 bath property just came up on the local MLS this morning at $69,500, and is pretty priceless as far as the agent remarks section:

    “You haven’t seen anything like this! Darling 1940’s charm with modern unique features! This rustic jewel is perfect for a small home or studio. Offering one bedroom, the two living areas allow for plenty of extra space. Wood floors, long leaf pine cabinets, beadboard walls and ceilings, tons of windows for natural light, CH/CA, huge cedar closet, custom lighting, island kitchen w/skylight, tile counters/backsplash, wonderful bathroom with huge 4×8 custom walk-in shower, and lg back deck with century oaks!”

    One would imagine quite a nice little house, giving that it’s a small 1-1. It’s in a decent neighborhood close to downtown, though, so it has that going for it, as well as all of the salient features so eloquently described in the listing remarks. Let’s check out the accompanying photos for the MLS listing, then, to see this rusti jewel in all her glory:

    Not the most ridiculous case I’ve ever seen of overly praiseworhty remarks trying to lure someone into seeing the property but still pretty funny, especially when the photos are right there with the MLS listing and glowing descriptive prose. I mean, the remarks are all technically true, so no false advertising, but require a pretty liberal interpretation of words such as wonderful, jewel, and modern unique features!

  1. That blue shower qualifies as ‘modern and unique’… right? Two (count ‘em) *2* shower heads!!
